Kathy Stewart

Registered Nurse Kathy Stewart has over 30 years of clinical experience, primarily in university and medical center settings. Her diverse clinical experience in renal, neurology, rehabilitation, oncology and geriatrics, prepared her for tackling the care required for the Assisted Living setting. She currently works as a nurse in the position of General Manager at Aegis Living.

Kathy's book Mom's Losing Her Memory; I'm Losing My Mind has received fabulous reviews. She has appeared in four separate live interviews on King 5 morning news with Joyce Taylor and Mark Wright.  Her television segments, and further author information, can be viewed on her website.

Kathy's unique approach and success for caring for elderly with dementia is modeled by many others. She focuses on the management of each person's specific symptoms, with positive approaches to keep them safe and emotionally healthy. She is a sought out speaker and consultant on the subject of elderly care and dementia.
