2016 Book Festival Author

Karyn Saemann wrote the book Electa Quinney: Stockbridge Teacher. The book is about Wisconsin's first public school teacher who taught children of the Stockbridge-Munsee band of Mohican Indians as well as daughters and sons of nearby settlers and missionaries. Saemann is a former news reported and editor. She lives in Wisconsin and works as a freelance writer, reviewer and editor.
