The Fly Fisherman’s Streamside Handbook to Crime

October 14, 2017 @ 5:30 am - 6:30 am CDT

John Galligan reads from and discusses his mystery series featuring a nomadic fly fisherman who tries to assuage his despair with bad cigars, vodka-and-Tang, and good trout water, prospecting for redemption to the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, the Paradise Valley of Montana, and the fabled Two-Hearted River of the Upper Peninsula. His series includes The Nail Knot (2003), “a real treat” (Library Journal); The Blood Knot, a “superbly told tale” (Kirkus) and a Crime Spree Magazine 2005 Book of the Year; The Clinch Knot (2008), a “stunning excursion into the wilds of human frailty” (Starred Review, Publisher’s Weekly).
