The anticipated 2019 Fox Cities Book Festival schedule is live! If you haven’t yet, you need to mark your calendar for October 7th thru October 13th to attend the most LIT-erary fall festival, the Fox Cities Book Festival. There’s something for everyone no matter what genre you prefer. Monday through Saturday authors will be hosted at one of the participating libraries. The headliner, Elizabeth Letts, will close out the festival on Sunday, October 13th, at the Lawrence University Chapel.

Monday, October 7 will be at Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library. Both locations will feature authors. The Little Chute location will have Judy Ducharme, Chris Jossart, Tom Sweetser, Louis Clark, and the Kaukauna Paranormal Investigators. The Kimberly location will feature Beth Ziarnik, Chris Multerer, Shannon Schuren, and Chad Lewis.
Tuesday, October 8 will be at the Kaukauna Public Library. Authors there will be Miranda Paul, Gaochi Vang, Lesley Kagen, BJ Hollars, Kathleen Ernst, and Rich Ratay. Later that night, there will be a book trivia event at a local bar.
Wednesday, October 9 will be at the Appleton Public Library. Featured authors are Rich Ratay, BJ Hollars, Carla Manns, Gaochi Vang, Scott Wittman, Somos Latinas, and Carrie Sue Barnes. There will also be a Short Story Night at McFleshman’s Brewing Co.
Thursday, October 10 is going to be at the Neenah Public Library. Authors that day include Brad Larson, Rae Miles, Ken & Barb Wardius, Christina Hagmann, and Kurt Dietrich.
Friday, October 11 is at the Menasha Public Library. Authors on Friday are Pamela Cameron, Lee Reiherzer, and Kelly Harms.
Saturday, October 12 Kimberly-Little Chute Library will have a mystery/thriller theme opening with Christine Keleny and Jennifer Hillier. Kaukauna Library will feature Gavin Schmitt, Sarah Read, and an Art of Anxiety panel. Neenah Library will have Tom Montag, The Power of the Romance Genre panel,and an I Believe in Yesterday: History and Place Illuminate Fiction panel. Menasha Library will host Neil Hansen and Luann Grosscup, Kristine Hansen, Jerry Apps, and Steve Betchkal.
Sunday, October 13 will feature headliner, Elizabeth Letts as she discusses her novel, Finding Dorothy. This book is a Publisher’s Weekly and Los Angeles Times Bestseller about the making of the movie Wizard of Oz told by the writer’s wife. This event will occur early Sunday afternoon at the Lawrence University Chapel.
Throughout the week, additional poets will be presenting at Lawrence University. Poets include Margaret Rozga, Crystal Gibbins, Stewart Cole, and Allison Joseph and Jon Tribble.
