Tanya Solomon
FictionTanya Solomon is the daughter of Bruce Chudacoff. She was born and raised in Appleton and lived here until her graduation from the University of Michigan with a BA in History and a BS in Education. Tanya moved to the Chicago area where she met her husband, Dave, a Chicago attorney. They have been married for over 20 years and have raised two children, both of whom are in college. Tanya has worked in retail clothing sales for many years and has a knack for knowing just what people need. She has been an advocate for inclusiveness over the years and has volunteered extensively in the community, serving on the board of Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook and supporting many programs at Glenbrook North High School. Tanya is a member of the Chicago Writers Association.
Tanya traveled to Rome and Jerusalem with her father to do research for their first book, The Key to the Map, and separately to Costa Rica for the second book, The Pirate Skeleton. Tanya also took a Krav Maga hand-to-hand combat course as part of her research. The coauthors are planning to travel further to do research for their third book.
