Thousand-Miler: Adventures Hiking the Ice Age Trail

McManus, author of the memoir Thousand-Miler: Adventures Hiking the Ice Age Trail (Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2017), will talk about her record-setting trek along the 1,100-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail. She will also speak about the trail and its development – it’s one of just 11 National Scenic Trails nationwide – and discuss the various successful strategies other thousand-milers have used in their hikes.
