Appleton Public Library

May 9, 2024 @ 3:26 pm CDT

Serving the community since 1897, we currently operate from an 85,000 square foot facility at 225 N. Oneida Street. Established under state law by the City of Appleton, we are governed by a nine-member citizen Board of Trustees.

On average, 1,600 people per day come to the library to use the collections, get help with questions, attend programs and meetings or access the Internet.

We serve as the resource library for the Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS), a federated system of sixteen member libraries. We share an online catalog with over 50 other libraries in Northeast Wisconsin. Library card holders from any OWLS library may request material from other libraries in the system.

InfoSoup is the online catalog for public libraries in Northeast Wisconsin. The catalog lists holdings of more than 1.7 million items and over 600,000 titles available to cardholders. From the catalog you can search for items, place holds, check your account and more. Please read the InfoSoup help page for assistance in searching, placing holds, or renewing items. You can also sign up to receive email notices about holds, shortly-due and overdue items.
