Born and raised in Menasha, Wisconsin, J. D. Griesbach attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School where he played football, baseball, and basketball. He is a member of St. Mary’s Athletic Hall of Fame. J. D. went on to North Dakota State University where he played football and baseball, receiving a B.S. degree in Business Economics, and later attended Rockford University in Rockford, Illinois where he earned an M.B.A. degree.

J. D. worked for a Fortune 500 paper and packaging corporation for over thirty-five years, beginning at an entry level job and progressing to administrative manager and financial controller positions in various locations in southern and northern California and Wisconsin, as general manager of the Neenah, WI facility, and as the Customer Service, Logistics, and Planning Manager for four Wisconsin facilities. He volunteered in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization as a big brother, and served on the board of directors in the non-profit organization Community Action of Rock and Walworth Counties, the last year as the Chairman of the Board. J. D. is happily retired and lives in Menasha.
