Joy Ann Ribar lives in central Wisconsin where she writes the Deep Lakes Mystery Series, starring baker/vinter Frankie Champagne. Joy’s writing is inspired by Wisconsin’s four distinct seasons and neighborly culture, along with her love of wineries and baking. She hopes to promote “Wisconsin-ness” for all the world to enjoy. Joy is a member of Sisters in Crime, Blackbird Writers, and Wisconsin Writers Association. She holds degrees from UW-Madison and UW-Oshkosh. She enjoys researching viticulture at area wineries, chatting with readers, and meeting authors. Joy and her husband John, someday plan to sell their house, buy an RV, and travel around the U.S. spreading good cheer and hygge! Joy is a little proud that her first mystery, Deep Dark Secrets, is the #1 bestselling fiction with Orange Hat Publishing (now Ten16 Press) for 2019.
