Her second novel, The Herd, a thriller set in an exclusive all-female coworking space, was named a best book of 2020 by Real Simple, Oprah Magazine, Good Housekeeping, and more. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Marie Claire, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Women's Health, Martha Stewart Living, Redbook, Elle, and many other outlets, and she’s held editorial positions at Glamour, Psychology Today, and Self, among other titles. She's from Milwaukee and graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in journalism. She lives in Brooklyn with her mischievous cat, Mona.
