Crystal S. Gibbins is the founder/editor of Split Rock Review and author of Now/Here (Holy Cow! Press), winner of the 2017 Northeastern Minnesota Book Award for Poetry and runner-up of the Edna Meudt Poetry Book Award from the Council for Wisconsin Writers. She is also the editor of Waters Deep: A Great Lakes Poetry Anthology and Rewilding: Poems for the Environment (Flexible Press, 2020). Her work appears in Hayden’s Ferry Review, Minnesota Review, Prairie Schooner, The Writer’s Almanac, Verse Daily, and elsewhere. Crystal is a grant recipient from the Minnesota State Arts Board, Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, and Chequamegon Bay Arts Council. She lives on the South Shore of Lake Superior in northwestern Wisconsin.
