ChildrenI grew up in Wisconsin. I still live there with my husband and our rescue dog, Chance. We have two amazing grown children. Being outdoors is one of my favorite things. In spring you can find me planting my garden. When summer comes I'll be out on the lake kayaking, swimming, or fishing. I love the woods in fall, especially once the mosquitoes are gone and the fall colors are blazing and beautiful. When winter comes, I pull out my cross country skis. And, if I get bored there is always plenty of snow shoveling in Wisconsin to keep me busy! When my high school English teacher, Mr. Frank, told me that one day he'd see my name in print, I didn't believe him. But here I am with my name on a book! Thanks Mr. Frank! If I could go back and tell my 8 year-old self something important, I'd tell myself to never let anyone else make you feel that you aren't just as important as they are. And that believing in yourself in more important than anything else. This is what I tell myself today; do one thing everyday to help make the world a better place.
