Kathy Buchen Beson
FictionKathy Buchen Beson is a native of the Fox Valley and writes under the name of Kathy Buchen. Her first book was a historical novel called Rainmaker, set in Montello and published in 1995. Since then she has published nine novels in the Rhiannon Nolan cozy mystery series, and a women’s fiction, Bless Me Father for I Have Sinned. The latest Rhiannon Nolan mystery is Marriage is Murder: The Door County Special. Her books are available on Amazon. All of her novels are available at local libraries. Kathy has a degree in English and a Masters in Library and Information Science from UW-Madison, and has been a librarian in the Fox Valley for 35 years. She was the founding President of the Board of the Fox Valley Literacy Coalition and is a past chair of the Youth Services Section of the Wisconsin Library Association. She is the Supervising Librarian in the Children's Room at Elisha D. Smith Public Library in Menasha, where she has worked for the last 28 years.
