Join us for a live virtual event with author, Carmen Maria Machado presented by Diverse & Resilient. Join us in person on National Coming Out Day during Hispanic Heritage Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month at Lawrence University Warch Campus Center Cinema.

Carmen will join us via live video and discuss her book, In the Dream House, a memoir about queer, interracial intimate partner violence, followed by an interview conducted by Kathy Flores, director of Diverse & Resilient Appleton, about Carmen’s experience writing about intimate partner violence and healing as a queer survivor. After the interview, the audience can participate in a Q&A session with Carmen.
