How Illustrations Are Made

Interested in learning about how a picture book is illustrated? Come join Jeanne as she walks you through the day of an illustrator! She’ll talk about the many decisions she faces as she moves a picture book from blank page to print. As an illustrator, she paint/gadget prints with recycled items on recycled newspaper and then uses the printed paper to collage her images. She’ll bring some paper and get you actively involved in art as she share her craft of collaging with you. She will also read a picture book or two along the way!
