The Unforgettable Life and Writing of Christopher Kunz

Learn about the unforgettable Christopher “Tuffer” Kunz. Before his death in June of this year, Tuffer wrote and published four books, contributed immensely to the community, and helped make the Fox Cities Book Festival what it is today through his service on the book festival board. The 2020 Fox Cities Book Festival is dedicated to his memory. During this event, you will meet some of the people who were closest to Tuffer and hear about his life story, including his decision to put down roots in the Fox Cities, involve himself in his adopted and beloved community, and commit himself to writing full time. You will learn how he transformed the short essays he wrote as a community columnist for the Appleton Post-Crescent into a collection of essays, Missing Pieces, which he published on Amazon in April, and hear recordings of him discussing the book and reading an essay from the book.
