Poets Allison Joseph and Jon Tribble present readings of their acclaimed work.
Jon Tribble teaches at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he is the series editor of the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry published by Southern Illinois University Press and the managing editor of Crab Orchard Review. He is the author of three books of poems, Natural State and God of the Kitchen (Glass Lyre Press, 2016 and 2018) and And There Is Many a Good Thing (Salmon Poetry, 2017). His reviews, essays, and poems have appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Chicago Tribune, Washington Post Book World, Crazyhorse, Ploughshares, and Poetry.
Allison Joseph is Director of SIUC’s Creative Writing Program. She is the editor-in-chief and founding poetry editor of Crab Orchard Review. her many awards for her writing and her service to writers, her undergraduate alma mater, Kenyon College, conferred a doctor of letters upon her in 2014. She is the author of many collections of poems including What Keeps Us Here, Soul Train, In Every Seam, Imitation of Life; Worldly Pleasures, My Father’s Kites, and Multitudes. Her newest book, Confessions of a Barefaced Woman, was published by Red Hen Press in 2018.
