We are delighted to offer a great line up of authors at the 2020 Fox Cities Book Festival. To keep writers, staff members, and participants safe, we are hosting the Book Festival virtually. We understand this is a new look for FCBF, but please know we are here to help you navigate this process.
Here’s an easy step-by-step breakdown of how to sign up for author events.
We hope this supports you as you plan your participation in the festival, but if you have questions, please feel welcome to reach out via a direct message on our Facebook page or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Find the author whose event you want to attend and click on their photo.
You will now be able read the author’s bio and view their events.
Select the event you want to attend and click “view event”
You can read more about the event and then click “register here”.
Fill out the simple contact form with your name and e-mail address. Click “Register”.
You will go to a confirmation page and receive a confirmation e-mail.
Congratulations! You’re signed up to attend the virtual event!
You can repeat the process for any other events you wish to attend. Those who pre-register this way will take part in the live Zoom events with the author and be able to submit questions. We will also stream all virtual events to our Facebook page where they will be available to view for 24 hours.
If you Need to Cancel
If you’ve mistakenly signed up for the wrong event or are no longer available, you can easily cancel your registration.
Go to the confirmation email and click “cancel” at the bottom of the email.
This will take you to a similar looking web page. Click “cancel” again.
Click the blue cancel button. You will receive a confirmation e-mail of your cancellation.
