The Fox Cities Book Festival is currently recruiting new members for its volunteer-led nonprofit board. If you are passionate about our local literary community, this may be a great opportunity for you to make a difference. Board members lead the organization as it advances our mission of connecting writers and readers.

Joining the FCBF team is a wonderful way to:

  • Have a voice in festival programming
  • Meet your favorite authors
  • Build your resume and skillset
  • Reach the community with books and ideas you are passionate about
  • Try something new and meet new friends

We are seeking board members with skills in the areas of marketing, fundraising, event and volunteer management, and more. If you have a special skillset in website development, grant writing, and social media, we want to talk with you.

Board members commit to attending monthly meetings which are currently virtual, and agree to take an active role in the operations of the nonprofit. Subcomittee opportunities include: Governance Committee, Fundraising Committee, Marketing, Committee, Authors Committee, and Volunteer Committee. Board members also make an annual donation to the organization and become an advocate on behalf of the festival.
